We are making the most of the beautiful weather and getting down by the sea as much as possible. We went to Bosham the other evening for a meal at the beautiful old pub, The Anchor Bleu. They had a troupe of Morris dancers to come and entertain us. Morris dancing dates back to the early 1400's and is thought to be a pagan fertility dance. There are many Morris troupes in England with many different coloured costumes. The dance involves sticks, swords and hankerchiefs.
