Anglesey

Our next stop was two nights in Beaumaris on the Isle of Anglesey.

A very pretty little village situated on the beach looking across the water to Mount Snowdon.  There is a medieval castle right in the middle of town.

We chose a lovely B&B one street back from the main street called Churchbank.  Our room had a view of the local church across the street.

Our first day there we explored Beaumaris, visited the castle and walked along the pier watching the children catching crabs with a piece of string.  They were very successful and their buckets were overflowing with small to medium sized crabs.  Nobody eats them!!!  They are put back in the water at the end of the day.
