For most of the villages in the Cinque Terre the train station is right in the middle of town.  Cornigula is the exception to that.  The town is located at the top of a very steep hill.  You can walk up the 365 steps to the top or catch the shuttle bus.  We opted for the shuttle bus and walked down the stairs to return to the station.
