The English Riviera is the region of Torbay on the South Devon Coast.
It lived up to that name and we had lovely warm and sunny weather for the entire week we were there.
We rented an apartment high up the hill overlooking the town.
We had some lovely sea views from the lounge room window.
There was a seagull that visited us each evening. I think past guests must have fed it as it tapped on the window and squawked when we ignored it. It came to the window sill every night hoping for some food.
We decided to buy a weekly bus ticket and use buses to get around and see everything. It was excellent way to get around and we didnt have to worry about parking. Also you get fabulous views from the top of the double decker buses.
